About Me
Hello! I am currently a sixth year grad student in the Mathematics Department at the University of California Riverside. My primary interests lie in Representation Theory and Lie Theory. I was also involved in Microtutorials, a project to incorporate online learning into the calculus curriculum at UCR. In addition, I participated in the University Teaching Certificate (UTC) Program at UCR, a two-quarter instructional training program designed to assist graduate students in developing teaching and lecturing strategies, designing a teaching philosophy, and becoming members of the professional teaching community. You can see a list of conferences I have attended here.
As an undergrad, I also attended UC Riverside, where I received a B.S. in Computational Mathematics. During that time, I worked in some projects related to Computer Science, including working with the programming language Haskell as well as an Android app for the startup SmartDocFinder. I ultimately decided to switch course and pursue a degree in pure mathematics.
When I’m not working on math, you can find me either catching Pokemon, playing board games, or roaming the Disneyland Resort.
